Sangre de Horchata

Idea: What is the difference between life in the city and life in the countryside? Between someone that doesn’t drink horchata and someone who does?

We created a piece with two backgrounds to respond to the client’s goal: to identify two kinds of persons (horchata drinkers and horchata not drinkers) and also stressful urban lifestyle versus relaxed and quiet countryside life. We record orchestral instruments like strings, bells and a rhythmic snare with an easygoing melody that accompanies the characters as long as they come through from one world to the other.
